We will be awarding six travel awards to the authors of the six best abstracts that have been accepted for presentation at the conference. This year the Travel Awards will be $750.00 for those traveling from Europe and $1000.00 for members traveling from outside Europe. (Both amounts are in American dollars.) Applicants are urged to consider re-writing their abstracts before submitting them, especially if they were shorter than the one-page maximum.
The award is intended for students and those in the early stages of their careers. The grant will be given to scholars meeting these criteria who:
– are participating in the Catania conference
– have had their abstracts approved by the organizers
– have paid their 2023 membership dues
Those interested in applying for this grant should send a copy of their abstract in either Microsoft Word or PDF format to both:

The deadline for receipt of abstracts is February 1, 2023.
